After photographing the Lea family earlier this year, I was delighted when Kerry asked me if I would be willing to capture her sweet young kiddos one more time in 2012 before I took my maternity leave from shooting.
It’s amazing to me to see how big her children are, just from when we last got together in March! Little Bradford is turning the big 2, and impressed me a million times over with his vocabulary and knowledge (how many 2-year-olds know that the shape of a school bus stop sign is an octagon?! Are you kidding me!!?!!) And baby Cora is still a precious little thing, but not quite the brand-new newborn she was when I first met her.
Kerry and William, thank you again for welcoming me into your home! And Kerry, I wish we were neighbors — I know I’d come down and visit you every day for some motherly advice as I prepare to enter my own world of motherhood :)

What a sweet family – and those kiddos are beautiful! :)
These are so perfect, Gail! You are magical with kiddos! :)
Precious family and photos! Love the name Cora :)
Awww. These are adorable, Gail! Good work.
Thank you so much Gail! Your work is incredible, and we will treasure these images you captured so well. What a fun afternoon with you – I wish we were neighbors too! And you’re going to be the loveliest mama!
I love the two of Cora and her dad. Those are really wonderful! And Cora’s little eyebrows are just so cute!
This is one the best family sessions I’ve ever seen. Absolutely perfect in every way! I love the “naturalness” of the poses, they look like they are just living life and you just happened to be in the area with a camera. Perfection!
