I’ll be honest and say I’m like a lot of other photographers out there who build a Web site. And then, once it’s built, promptly forget about it. Kind of like, “It’s there now, so I can let it be, right?” Which is so silly of me to think, but it’s easy to let the resistance of new shoots and editing and taking care of clients and balancing books and, you know, having a life, get in the way of updating that Web presence. Putting off ’til tomorrow what I should have been doing with each new shoot. Only, tomorrow became the next day and then the next day and before you know it, 10 MONTHS go by and with them, the realization that not a single thing about my Web site had changed since.

It’s embarrassing, since I feel like I’ve grown leaps and bounds as a photographer since I launched the site in September 2009. And so, a major overhaul was in order. Going back through these pages, I remembered how much I love my Web site. How much it’s a representation of my best foot forward as a photographer. And then I felt even worse for neglecting it. So here’s to new galleries and a slew of familiar faces I’ve photographed in 2010, but also, to the same fresh look and feel to the site. And, thanks to the power of ShowIt, here’s to making those changes a breeze!
